Dr. Lynch is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive training and experience providing individual, family and group psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Dr. Lynch specializes in the treatment of children/adolescents (toddlers through young adulthood), and their families using an integrative approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy, family systems, solution-focused, relational, and dynamic approaches. Dr. Lynch’s experience extends to performing psychological assessments including intellectual, academic, and emotional measures, as well as ADHD evaluations. Dr. Lynch is a Trauma and Loss Clinical Specialist, dedicated to the treatment of children, adolescents, and families who have experienced distress resulting from abuse, divorce, loss, violence, disaster or other psychologically overwhelming experiences. Dr. Lynch is committed to the process of restoring hope and promoting healing and growth to patients and their families experiencing distress.  Dr. Lynch accommodates to the busy lives of individuals and families by having office hours that include evenings and Saturdays.
 
Before going into private practice, Dr. Lynch has held positions in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine, the Child Research Division at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and has been in private practice since 2005.
